Fabio Della Torre

Fabio Della Torre aka Corcos is an Italian DJ/producer from Florence. A leading figure in Italy’s electronic music scene, Della Torre is the brains behind Bosconi, one of his country’s most esteemed house music imprints. Alongside Ennio Colaci, Della Torre also produces as one half of production duo, Minimono, themselves veritable purveyors of discerning electronic music.

Della Torre’s DJ career began in earnest at Florence’s infamous Tenax club back in 1995. Since then he has appeared in practically every Italian nightclub of note, as well as a range of global institutions. Panorama Bar for example, hosted a Bosconi label showcase, while Concrete Paris, Tresor, DC10, Rex Club and Flash DC are all among those who have played host to Fabio’s unique sound.

Fabio’s association with Tenax is still well and truly alive today, as these days he DJs at the club as a monthly resident. An association that’s indicative of his timeless sound, his longstanding relationship with the club affords him a unique opportunity to showcase his wide-ranging skills to Florence’s many electronic music aficionados. As likely to spin deep house as he is minimal techno or more up-tempo funk numbers, Della Torre’s passion and unpredictable nature is a hallmark of his extensive DJ style.

In 2008, alongside Ennio Colaci Fabio founded Bosconi records, with its sublabel, Bosconi Extra Virgin (an outlet for more eclectic releases), following soon after. To date, Bosconi has released over seventy records, with A Guy Called Gerald, DJ Nature, Andres, Paul Johnson, Scott Grooves and San Proper just some of those they’ve played host to. Bosconi is equally dedicated to fostering emerging Italian talent, with Herva, Life's Track, Nas1, Rufus, Dukwa, Riccio, Mass Prod and The Clover all equally responsible for the label’s quick ascension. Such is Bosconi’s reputation among in-the-know house heads, that in 2013, they had the distinction of being awarded Resident Advisor’s ‘Label of the Month’.

From a production perspective, Fabio’s solo works have appeared on the likes of Concrete Paris, Vibraphone, Robsoul, Inner Balance, Telegraph, Tuning Spork, Tenax and Oslo, while Cabanne, Marcel Fengler, Regen, Jay Haze, Eduardo De La Calle and Scott Grooves are among those who’ve remixed his work. Never one to pander to obvious trends or sounds, it’s with good reason that Fabio Della Torre is renowned as one of Italy’s finest electronic music exports.

Late Nite Tuff Guy

Late Nite Tuff Guy is a new breed of disco vigilante, prowling the neon streets on a mission from God / David Mancuso to reclaim the clubs and fuck shit up. The scandalous alter-ego of genuine techno legend HMC (known to his momma as Cam Bianchetti), Late Nite Tuff Guy (LNTG) puts the acrimony in acronym, the oh in disco, the amp in camp and the dang in dangerous. His shit’s controversial, but it don’t stink.

Peddling the most credible of disco edits – sexy and tasteful to a tight white tee – and accruing some serious acclaim from an illustrious roll call of heads in the know (including Jeff Mills, Todd Terje, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Ellen Alien, Steve Lawler, Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, Jackmaster, Optimo and The Don himself – Sir Greg Wilson, who remixed LNTG’s One Nite in a Disco), the world is his and it’s about to blow up.

Under his earlier HMC guise, our tuff, dark and oh so handsome saviour earned the moniker ‘The Godfather of Australian Techno’, and rightfully so. A seminal figure in Australian dance music, HMC was one of the first artists to propel Antipodean techno and house into the world’s clubs with bona fide mid-90s classics such as Phreakin’, LSD and 6AM. Proper soul music with an electronic pulse, HMC’s soundtracked the planet’s most discerning discos and is set to continue this dance-floor dominance with his LNTG incarnation.

The man behind the acronyms (and he is a mere mortal despite the reverence in which he’s held and the orgasmic gasps from awe-struck punters which invariably greet his entrance to the club) has been in this game (and ahead of the game too) for a very long time, and it shows. Not on his face – which is as chiselled and kissable and ageless as a white Nile Rodgers – but in his DJ sets, edits and original productions, which exhibit the kind of effortless mastery that you only achieve once you’d paid your dues and played your heart out to every kind of crowd imaginable, from kids to queens and everyone in between.

That’s why nobody was surprised when LNTG became an online sensation, with Cam’s on-point edits of classic tracks receiving 380,000 plays (and counting) on Soundcloud. In addition to the internet adulation, LNTG’s impeccable edits have also been released on vinyl through some of the best and most respected edits labels around the world, and his I Get Deeper track came out via Light Speed Recordings and was also included on a Get Physical release with Joris Voorn.

These LTNG cuts are rapidly becoming classics in their own right, deftly reworking vintage disco and soul tunes into modern clubbing wonders and proving that Cam is an alchemist of dance music. There is magic in his fingertips, fire in his loins and hair on his chest. He is tuff, but he’s a lover too. All of this will be revealed in its full x-rated glory when he releases his debut album of original material in the not too distant future. But until his debut drops you’ll have to make do with his DJing, as LNTG gets ready to hit the national and international circuits to do justice to HMC’s legacy of being one of the most talented and versatile DJs to EVER grace the turntables. Also, possibly as a result of adopting this new tuff guy persona, LNTG has gone one up on HMC and B. A. Baracus by overcoming his fear of flying. The only thing he fears now is a warm up DJ playing 140 BPM. And the only thing you should fear is missing out on him.

Hektisch Kunst

One fateful day in 2004 two like minded Australian coastal musicians met and jammed in the corridors of the beautiful Sydney Conservatorium of Music. 10 years later their journeys had taken them to the streets of Berlin where they both were searching for co collaborators for their ever expanding wardrobes of original music. They were joined by a legendary long term partner in crime who added trombone and keys into the loops. The ease, fluency and bounce that they created sparked the fire and started the back-burning bum bum blasting rocket ship, now known as Hektisch Kunst. Their blend of mellow soul and reggae flavored numbers combined with their ability to stir crowds into frenzied dancing with their high energy hektischness sets them apart from other Kunsts. Wilkommen to Hektisch land!

Malibeau is a live disco/soul 5-piece inspired by the tropics of Australia and the late-night hedonism of Berlin. The band’s sound conjures memories of CHIC, Marvin Gaye and Sade, peppered with new-wave disco and tropicana. Malibeau was formed in 2016 in Berlin, with members hailing from Australia, New Zealand and Germany. Expect tight guitar and bass riffs on a bed of dreamy, retro synths, fun discotheque beats, and a lot of glitter.

The band’s lineup features three lead vocalists – Youka, James and Joel – toting keyboards, electric guitars and lush vocal harmonies. The rhythm section is underpinned with sexy West Coast and Motown-inspired basslines from bass player Adam, accompanied by heavy hitter and versatile beat machine Richie on drums.

Malibeau has spent the last year stirring up crowds around Berlin with their visceral live show, hosting a regular “Tropical Soul” party alongside Berlin/Israeli favourites, Hush Moss (Average Negative). They are currently in the studio recording their debut EP “Closer”, set for release in September 2017.

The Lips

Bringing together musical forces from Australia, Luxembourg and Germany, The Lips have a raw, retro and cheeky sound that is blowing away crowds in their hometown of Berlin. The last couple of years has seen the boys play a steady stream of festivals, clubs, countless underground dive bars and the streets of Berlin to promote their debut album "You Can Kiss Us". This was released late July 2016 to a sold out and raucous crowd at notorious venue "Keller" and was followed by the single and film clip "Trouble in Paradise" which went off like a frog in a sock.

Playing hard hitting and infectiously fun party tunes the boys bring together a love of blues, funk and soul, creating dance parties wherever they unleash their sweet little smackers.. So you better pucker up and get ready for a smooch apocalypse schnookys!

Venue

Dodo Village was born from an alternative holiday concept designed to create a wonderful setting in Tuscany. It was born in 2012 and launches its proposals on an European market.

"Our philosophy is to give all the comfort to those who stay with us but to not give up on all the avenues our techno-civilized life has accustomed us to.”

The villages extends for approximately 30,000 square meters, immersed in unspoilt nature, with breathtaking landscapes to take in the breath. Located at about 500 s.l.m. Dodo Village guarantees not only comfort but also peace and relaxation not only physical but also interior so that you can completely detach yourself to find yourself.

Dodo Village opens its doors to the tourist who needs to learn to use all his senses (touch, sight, smell, taste and hearing), who is looking for authenticity, relaxation, evasion, culture, enterprising and curious, adaptable and demanding, physically active/sporty, esoteric and enigmatic, reliable and unmanageable, "who thinks on his way ... and advances intrepidly toward the horizon that awaits him."
