CC:DISC0!
She's back!
From rural Victoria to the world, CC:DISCO! has built her life around one guiding principle: music first!
CC’s career has given her the perfect creative outlets to express her first love – be it DJing around the globe, throwing dance parties with her best friends, or releasing her own music through her label Miami Daddy.
On her road from radio host to warm-up DJ to headliner, CC has never once compromised on her sound. Pumping, romantic, playful, uplifting – these are the feels that people around the world have experienced listening to CC in action. Ultimately, it’s about connecting with other music lovers on a physical and emotional level: less chin-stroking, more dancing!
You could be chilling in a listening bar in her adopted hometown of Lisbon, getting freaky in the late hours at Sub Club, Good Room, Macadam or Pikes in Ibiza, or losing your mind during a headline slot at major festivals like Kala, Pitch Music & Arts, Waking Life, Glastonbury or Sonar – even on the biggest stages, it always feels like CC is playing just for you. She transmits this feeling regularly over the airwaves as well, appearing on Rinse FM, NTS, Boiler Room and Dublab, and featuring on banner shows like the BBC Essential Mix and RA Exchange.
As a music-maker, CC has produced a string of festival-ready groovers, first with her debut EP ‘Chez Moi’ (featuring Confidence Man) on Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound, and then on her own label Miami Daddy, which she founded in 2024. The label’s first two EPs ‘Touch The Vibe’ and ‘Magic Is In The Tempo’, both featuring Jennifer Loveless, showed off CC’s three loves: Balearic, percussion and femme energy – and were hits with DJs internationally.
Local community remains a crucial component of CC’s work wherever she is. In recent years, she has been deepening her connection to the Lisbon scene, co-hosting her much-loved Club CCC dance parties and playing in underground clubs like Outra Cena and Planeta Manas. During her years on the road, CC has also kept in close touch with the Australian scene and the musicians she meets on her travels, channelling these relationships into two volumes of her First Light compilation.
