Seanchoíche
Storytelling Workshop & Event
(pronounced: Shanna-key-huh)
Founded in Dublin and now running across London, Amsterdam, New York, Melbourne and beyond, Seanchoíche is a storytelling platform where ordinary people tell extraordinary stories — personal anecdotes, monologues, fictional narratives, laughter, tears and everything in between. It's a safe space built on empathy and catharsis, where for some it's their very first time speaking in front of a crowd, and for others a chance to test their creative voice on a live audience.
At Flash 2026, founder Gaff brings the magic to the fields: a workshop on Thursday to learn the art of storytelling, followed by a live event on Friday where the community gathers to share, listen and feel.
This year's Flash Festival theme is: LOVE.
TELL YOUR STORY AT FLASH FESTIVAL & GET A FREE TICKET!
Please sign up to the Workshop and submit your story, if you wish, via the below form.
Remember this year’s theme is "love" - the thing that makes Flash what it is.
Everyone is welcome to submit their story. All stories are welcome. Only a short synopsis is required. You don't have to have made a decision yet, so if you're still figuring out your story, just say that!
Only a few will be selected though to speak at the Friday event (12:30pm, Giardino Stage). The speakers will get a free entry to the festival (if you have already booked a ticket, we will refund it to you).
Do not worry, for many participants it's their first time speaking in front of a crowd. That, as anyone who's been to Seanchoíche will tell you, is what makes it special.
